Happy Sunday! I hope you had a lovely Valentine’s Day with the ones you love. 💘 Life UpdatesLast Thursday I spent the day skiing for the first time this year and my poor legs are still recovering, but I had a great time! I’m always a little awkward on the skis at first, but eventually I got my snow legs under me. I thought I might stay on the easy green runs the whole day, but once I got my confidence back I quickly grew bored and headed over to the blues. It’s fun to see how much I’ve improved in just a handful of ski days over the past 3 years. I have a couple more trips this year (one next week!) and will be taking some lessons in Colorado. I’m crossing my fingers that I can attempt my first black run! 🤞🏾 New Art: Historical-Inspired DesignsLast week I mentioned that I wanted to create some more vintage, historical-inspired designs, and I did just that. Here are how they turned out. I played around a lot with the style and approach, but for the most part I incorporated a lot of detailed line work. Line work is a staple in my style I always come back to. As always, some I like more than others, but I had fun creating them all the same. I’ll be making this available to purchase in my shop over the next couple of weeks. If you or someone you know is ever looking for fabric, wallpaper, or home decor, you can purchase my designs on any of these products in my Spoonflower shop.
I’m available to make any custom changes to the scale or colors as well. Just ask! Until next week, ~Rachel P.S., if you enjoyed this email and know a friend who might be inspired by it too, please forward it along! And if you ARE that friend, subscribe here. |
